SME2B is a business-to-business platform that wants to enable European small and medium-sized companies to find new commercial partners across the continent, so to make the best of the European Single Market. This platform is also a great tool for VET Providers and educational institutions that want to develop their networks and engage an improved collaboration with companies all around Europe.
Launched during March 2021 by our colleagues from the European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME, the largest confederation of voluntarily associated small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), the platform already gathers about 200 different companies/organisations/associations, from more than 25 European countries and around.
Free of charge and user-friendly, the platform can be used for different reasons:
- Present services and products in an interactive marketplace.
- Search, filter and find a business partner quickly and easily.
- Meet potential business partners directly through virtual meeting spaces.
These three “bullet points” are how SME2B is advertised to the SMEs, but the reason we, in EVBB, chose to promote it is that we really believe that it can highly benefit our members who want to develop and improve their collaboration with companies (e.g., for internships/apprenticeships, improve Work-based learning activities, develop tailored trainings, etc.) at local, national or international level.
Of course, these are just few examples that instantly came to our mind when European Entrepreneurs CEA-PME informed us about the platform. There are other possibilities available on SME2B but, instead of listing them, it would be better for you to just have a look at it.
