About Instituto de estudios interdisciplinares avanzados – CONSILIENCE

Consilience is a non-profit association working in the research and education fields. The members and collaborators are university teachers and researchers in Spain and other countries in UE and America.

The main objectives are:
a) Promote the unity of knowledge among the natural sciences and sciences, humanities, art, and technology.

b) Advocate for and promote evidence-based research.

c) Foster advanced interdisciplinary studies in all branches of knowledge, art, and technology.

d) Facilitate high-level dialogue among science and society, to advance the understanding of the human being and their place and role in Nature.

e) Promote the well-being of humans and animals, especially in the use of animal therapies.

f) Encourage the education of citizens in scientific and technical aspects, with a focus on understanding Nature and its protection and conservation.

g) Promote the improvement of individuals’ training and qualification in any academic and professional field.
