Ready to turn Europe’s new VET Strategy into action?
This year’s EVBB Annual Conference takes place in Paris from 18 to 20 November 2026, bringing together VET leaders, policymakers, European institutions, national ministries, project practitioners, social partners, and institutional partners from across Europe and beyond.
The timing is unique. The European Commission is expected to publish the new EU VET Strategy at the end of September 2026, making the EVBB Annual Conference the first major sector event following its release. This is your opportunity to understand what the Strategy means in practice and how to turn its priorities into concrete action, partnerships, and funding.
What’s This Year’s Focus?
From Strategy to Action: exploring what Europe’s new VET Strategy means for institutions, national systems, and the future of European vocational education and training.
EVBB has been involved in the consultative process from the beginning, contributing to discussions with the European Commission. Now, the Annual Conference provides a unique platform to unpack the Strategy, hear directly from European and national stakeholders, and explore how its priorities can be implemented across the sector.
What to Expect
- Understanding the Strategy – Explore what the new EU VET Strategy says, how it was developed, and what it means for the sector, with contributions from the European Commission, the Advisory Board, and national delegations.
- National Responses and Implementation – Discover how EU Member States are translating the Strategy into practice, with perspectives from national representatives, MEPs, and AFPA.
- Financing the Strategy – Learn how to access and make the most of EU funding to implement the Strategy, including Erasmus+, the Competitiveness Fund, and national funding opportunities.
- Study Visits – Visit two VET campus sites in the Paris region and discover innovative approaches to vocational education and training.
- Networking Gala – Connect with VET leaders, policymakers, practitioners, and project partners from across Europe during an exclusive networking evening.
- EVBB General Assembly – Take part in EVBB’s governance activities and engage with the wider EVBB community.
- Strategic Networking – Build partnerships for future projects and connect with members of one of the largest VET networks in the world.
- Cultural Experience – Discover Paris through an optional cultural activity bringing the conference programme to a close.
