Ready to turn Europe’s VET ambitions into action?
The EVBB Annual Conference 2026, “Europe’s VET Strategy in Action: Skills, Business and Global Partnerships”, will take place in Paris from 18 to 20 November 2026, bringing together more than 300 VET leaders, policymakers, European institutions, national authorities, businesses, social partners, practitioners and international organisations from across Europe and beyond.
This year’s Conference will focus on a central question: how can Europe translate its ambitions for vocational education and training into concrete action?
Across three days of high-level dialogue, practical exchanges and networking, participants will explore how skills development can respond to changing labour-market needs, how stronger cooperation between VET and business can support European competitiveness and quality jobs, and how international partnerships can strengthen the global dimension of VET.
More than a policy discussion, the Conference will be a space for delivery: connecting decision-makers with those implementing VET on the ground, exchanging practical approaches, building new partnerships and developing ideas for future European and international cooperation.
What’s This Year’s Focus?
From Ambition to Delivery: turning Europe’s VET priorities into concrete action for skills, jobs and competitiveness.
This year’s Conference will focus on how vocational education and training can respond to Europe’s changing skills needs and deliver real impact for learners, businesses and labour markets.
The discussions will move beyond policy ambitions to explore what delivery looks like in practice: strengthening cooperation between VET and business, developing the skills Europe needs, supporting quality jobs and competitiveness, and building stronger European and global partnerships.
Bringing together European institutions, national authorities, VET providers, industry, social partners and international organisations, the Conference will connect policy with practice and create a space to exchange solutions, build partnerships and shape new opportunities for cooperation.

- Policy into Delivery – Hear directly from European institutions, national authorities and VET leaders about how Europe’s ambitions for vocational education and training can be translated into concrete action.
- Skills, Jobs and Business – Explore how stronger cooperation between VET and industry can respond to skills shortages, support quality jobs and strengthen European competitiveness.
- Global Perspectives – Exchange with ministries, international organisations and VET stakeholders from Europe and beyond on international cooperation, mobility and global skills partnerships.
- Practical Labs – Move from discussion to action through interactive labs focused on key challenges for VET, producing practical ideas and recommendations that can be taken forward after the Conference.
- European Instruments and Opportunities – Discover how Erasmus+ and other European and national instruments can support internationalisation, cooperation and the implementation of new initiatives in VET.
- Study Visits – Visit leading VET and skills campuses in the Paris region and discover innovative approaches to training, cooperation with industry and skills development.
- Strategic Networking – Connect with more than 300 VET leaders, policymakers, businesses, practitioners and international partners, identify potential partners and develop ideas for future European and international projects.
- Networking Gala – Build connections in a unique setting during the Conference’s networking evening on the Seine, bringing together the EVBB community and invited stakeholders from across Europe and beyond.
- EVBB General Assembly – Take part in EVBB’s governance activities, exchange with fellow members and contribute to the future direction of the network.
