This year’s edition of the EVBB Policy Camp takes place in Thessaloniki, bringing together VET professionals, policymakers, institutional partners, project managers, and education innovators from across Europe. Over four days, participants will explore the evolving European funding landscape, the growing role of AI in project development, and the future direction of European VET policy.
What’s This Year’s Focus?
Beyond the Bubble – a practical and forward-looking exploration of how VET organisations can respond to rapid changes in EU policy, funding priorities, and digital transformation. The 2026 edition is designed to move beyond institutional talking points and provide participants with direct insights, practical tools, and strategic discussions relevant to their everyday work.
What to Expect
- Exclusive insights into the upcoming EU Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) negotiations and future funding priorities
- Expert-led discussions on the opportunities and challenges of AI-assisted EU proposal development
- A dedicated session with an experienced EU project evaluator on how AI-supported applications are assessed
- A full day of institutional engagement at CEDEFOP, including discussions on the future EU VET Strategy and current European VET research priorities
- Structured ecosystem networking and facilitated matchmaking by sector, supported through B2Match meeting scheduling
- Study visits to public and private VET institutions across Thessaloniki in cooperation with Greek national stakeholders
- Cultural visits exploring Thessaloniki’s Byzantine heritage, Ano Poli, and the historic waterfront district
- Strategic networking opportunities with VET providers, EU institutions, and project partners from across Europe
