On September 30th and October 1st, 2010, the EVBB annual conference came alive in the city of Lisbon, Portugal. The theme of the conference was “Combat against Poverty by Vocational Training,” bringing together nearly 100 experts in vocational training, education legislators, and representatives of European institutions at the Lisbon Cultural Center Belem.
Over the course of two days, participants engaged in thought-provoking debates, delving into significant issues surrounding European vocational education and training. The discussions were not limited to the boundaries of Europe; instead, they explored a broader perspective to tackle the pressing challenges related to poverty and inequality.
During his keynote speech, EVBB President Kuhn emphasized the need to look beyond traditional approaches and think innovatively to address the issue of poverty.
