EVBB Annual Conference 2008, Krakow, Poland – Intercultural Dialogue – Knowledge Transfer, Education Management and Quality Assurance

The 2008 Annual Conference of the European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB) took place in Krakow from 13 to 15 November 2008. The Plenary Hall of the City Hall served as the venue for the conference, which revolved around the theme of “Intercultural Dialogue – Knowledge Transfer, Education Management, and Quality Assurance.”

The conference garnered significant support and recognition as it was held under the patronage of the city president, Jacek Majchrowsky. The event’s preparation was led by the International Federation in Frankfurt/Main, in collaboration with the Polish member, Bydgoski Zaklad Doskonalenia Zawodowego – Company for Professional Training in Bydgoszcz.

Throughout the conference, more than insights and discussions were shared, as experts and stakeholders explored the importance of intercultural dialogue and its impact on knowledge transfer, education management, and quality assurance in vocational training. The event served as a significant platform for fostering collaboration and understanding between diverse cultures and educational systems, enhancing the quality and effectiveness of vocational education across Europe.
