In June 2003, the European Association of Vocational Training Providers (EVBB) held its annual conference in Berlin, Germany. The theme of the conference was “Integration of Youth into Society – European Approaches,” reflecting the organization’s commitment to addressing the challenges faced by young people in Europe and promoting effective solutions for their integration into society.
The conference brought together representatives from 22 vocational training providers spanning nine European countries. These providers were actively engaged in educational projects across a total of 33 countries, underscoring the international scope of their efforts.
During the two-day event at Berlin City Hall, participants engaged in fruitful discussions, sharing their experiences and exchanging best practices to enhance the integration of youth into society. The conference provided a platform for fostering cooperation and collaboration among vocational training providers across Europe, with a shared goal of empowering young people to overcome barriers and successfully integrate into society.
By focusing on “European Approaches” to youth integration, the conference aimed to leverage the collective knowledge and expertise of vocational training providers from various countries to develop comprehensive and inclusive strategies for addressing the challenges faced by young people. The ultimate objective was to enable the youth to actively participate in the social and economic life of their respective communities and contribute positively to the development of a united Europe.
