TWINMED
The Twin-Med Project drives the Twin Transition in maritime education across Tunisia, Libya, and Morocco. By integrating AR/VR methodologies and smart solutions, it equips future seafarers with vital green and digital skills. Key outputs include a new, EU-standardized MSc curriculum supported by Virtual Learning Environments and hands-on simulation training.
Objectives
• Twin Transition: Integrating green and digital skills into maritime curricula aligned with the EU Green Deal and Digital Decade.
• Technological Modernization: Implementing AR/VR simulations and AI-driven tools to enhance training efficiency and safety.
• Capacity Building: Upskilling HEI staff and students to meet global standards including the Maritime Single Window.
• Regional Resilience: Bridging the gap between education and industry to boost GDP, sustainability, and global competitiveness.
