About Maramures County School Inspectorate

The Maramures County School Inspectorate has 187 schools with 67 624 students, 5 267 teachers, 686 auxiliar+1486 nondidactic – 2172 non-teaching staff under its control. Of these schools, there are 28 professional schools, 20 technological high schools, 10 vocational high schools. Education is a priority and the main activity for this institution, and this reflects in the fact that it carries out activities both in the field of school education and adult education, and in VET professional education. The inspectorate has extensive experience in carrying out projects. It has 3 Erasmus+ accreditations, one for school education, one for VET and one for adult education. It develops projects for schools and kindergartens and with other institutions, NGOs, the county council and city halls. The inspectorate develops various programs for the support and integration of Roma children, and for vulnerable groups and migrants.
