Warnborough College Ireland (WCI) was founded in 1997. The college provides adult and vocational educational programmes across a range of disciplines and academic levels. Our students study from across Europe and the wider world. We use various methods of instruction, including face-to-face classes, online and blended learning. Our ethos is to be as inclusive as possible, and we work with learners who are unable to avail of traditional classroom-style learning for various reasons (e.g. prisoners, physically disabled, special needs). We have a support network of 70 tutors, mentors, and teachers to help students to learn. The College offers over 650 VET courses in areas such as agriculture, the arts, business and management, entrepreneurial studies, horticulture, hospitality and tourism, health management, psychology and environmental science. The College is experienced in transnational education, working with partner institutions and organisations around the world. We represent the European region of the International Vocational Education and Training Association (IVETA) – this means we have immediate access to expertise and people in the TVET sector around the world. The College sponsors and runs an annual arts conference covering everything from writing to theatre, dance to fine arts. The College has invested in transforming its educational provision with Artificial Intelligence, blockchain technology and other up-and-coming innovations. It also participates in Erasmus+ and other European projects.
