About Center for Promoting Lifelong Learning – CPIP
CPIP is an NGO focused on providing the needed support for different professional communities to access modern and adapted learning pathways. We are actively promoting the science of learning, education and pedagogy at the forefront of a modern Europe. Our work reflects in building frameworks of competencies, setting up microcredential mechanisms and offering learning experiences for practitioner, professional and citizens in local communities. We convey the voices of our stakeholders to the European platforms, actively taking part in building public policy
Achievements
Since 2020 we are coordinating a Pact for Skills dedicated for the correctional ecosystem, pledging to support the competencies of all community practitioners and professionals that provide services in or for prison context. We have secured the first Center of Vocational Excellence in Europe to be co-managed in a public-private partnership between a prison and civil society. We coordinate the first Bluprint to take a look with a modern understanding of justice to the correctional ecosystem, as an economic sector in need of competencies update for all its actors. We are members of the European Digital Education Hube and of the Just Transition Platform as key experts for the topic of marginalisation and disadvantaged groups.
