About Nordic Horizon Institute

Nordic Horizon Institute NGO (NHI NGO) is a VET non-profit organization based in Stockholm, Sweden, fostering mobility, education, and innovation across Europe and beyond. Founded by young professionals, NHI NGO operates in over 8 European countries with 18+ partner organizations and collaborates locally with 50+ entities, including public and private bodies, educational institutions, and research centers. Our mission is to promote youth active citizenship, human rights, democracy, and equal opportunities while advocating for social inclusion, peace, interculturality, and European diversity. We excel in social innovation, research, training capacity building in Green Energy, Climate Change, and Green Transition, as well as dissemination and exploitation of project results. Our achievements include capacity building within the VET sector for trainers and students in African countries such as Kenya, Rwanda, Somalia, and Tanzania, increasing their capacity in green practices and enhancing environmental sustainability through projects like “Warming Schools. VET4GREEN ” We look to work closely with partners to build capacities in Africa and Europe.
