Created on June 23, 1885, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tunis is a public body, under the supervision of the Ministry of Commerce and the Promotion of Exports, non-profit, its main action is the support and assistance to companies in greater Tunis (Tunis, Ariana, Ben Arous and La manouba) A bearer of ideas, the CCITunis also has the mission of economic promotion, information and the strengthening of skills through vocational training (Practical Business School). The CCITunis has implemented a quality management system since 2010, when it obtained the ISO 9001 V2008 certificate from Tuv-Rheinland, which aims to: disseminate the quality policy – create a dynamic of continuous internal improvement – strengthen skills and competences through a professional training activity – continuous training for the improvement of the services rendered – strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation relations through its international progress The Committee is composed of (30) thirty elected members, including the office composed of (9) nine members.
Mission:
HHCT offers professional and technical training programs that match the national labor market standards. It also encourages technical and applied scientific research, individual and social work as well as implementing technology to improve the Palestinian community. In addition to that, the college always aspires to seek ties between local and international institutions, Qualifying graduates in technical fields according to the labor market demand, in an efficient, effective and sustainable manner.
HHCT is a non-profit organization. The main objective of the Institute is the development and strengthening of the technical education in addition HHCT is have membership in the Palestinian Technical Vocational Education and Training League, and The European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB).and development the innovation through:
Academics:
The College consists of two academic departments:
1. The Department of Computer and Engineering Professions:
This department includes the specializations of electrical installations engineering, communication engineering, manufacturing and production engineering, industrial automation, computer networks and internet, refrigeration and Air conditioning, auto-Mechatronics and computerized information technology, hybrid and electric vehicles technology, renewable energy technology, Fiber-optic communication.
2. The Department of Applied Arts:
This Department includes the specializations of graphic design, interior design and décor, Beauty, Hair Care & Skin Care, and multimedia and web development, fashion design.
