About DIAN TRAINING ACTIVITIES
DIAN (www.dian.gr) is a private organization operated since 1987 in Athens Greece. The main activity of DIAN is the formal and non formal training in different subjects of students, teachers and adults by preparing training material and by pilot implementing of this, before the training material takes the final content.
DIAN also has a publishing department with more than 90 publications in Greek and other European languages on subjects such as education, training, arts and ancient Greek Theater.
DIAN is a small size company, occupying totally 22 full and part time personnel, and has been very active in Europe, participating continuously all these years in many E.U. Projects, in collaboration with many European Educational Institutions and other training providers from almost all E.U. countries.
Because of this active role in European Educational and Training activities DIAN has been accepted as member by two European Networks of Training Providers, EVBB and Euroreso.
DIAN’S E.U. Programme coordinator, Dr. Panos Milios, is an educator who has been director for 20 years of a big private Educational Institution in Athens and who has developed non formal educational programs, according to the needs of the students and the demands of the educational society.
DIAN also collaborates very closely with the “”Institute for Marine Research and Protection Archipelagos”” (www.archipelago.gr), participating in the organization of the activities that Archipelagos implements. Through this collaboration, many educational projects concerning the protection of the environment are proposed and implemented.
Finally, DIAN has been collaborating with the Moscow Trade Union Federation, related to matters of Health and Safety at the Workplace. DIAN has developed training material for trainees and has organized training activities for trainers in Moscow on this subject.
Achievements
- Among DIAN’s important achievements are:
“DIE EUROPA 2023 Award” for the implementation of the European Project “Save Our Planet” for people with kinetic disabilities. - The election of Dr. Panos Milios as OSHVET National Ambassador for Greece.
- The election of Dr. Panos Milios as a Member of the Board of Directors of EVBB.
- The signing of the collaboration agreement between DIAN and the Moscow Trade Union Federation.
- The election of Dr. Panos Milios as a Member of the Board of Directors of Greek Indian Business Association.
