Care4Skills
Building on the large-scale skills partnership the Care4Skills will create new strategic approach for skills development solutions in the long-term care sector through cross-European and both cross- and inter-sectoral collaboration, mobilising relevant stakeholders and developing actions for the upskilling and reskilling of the workforce in the LTC and in support of achievement of the targets set by the partnership.
Objectives of the project
Need:
a) Provide rapid response to urgent skills needs in LTC resulting from COVID-19 by offering training programmes for up-skilling and re-skilling of the workforce.
b) Gather skills intelligence in LTC with a focus on digital and person-centred care (resilience) skills, and develop a common methodology for anticipating future skill needs and monitoring the progress of skill supply and demand.
c) Identify occupational profiles that need to be revised or created, and determine their corresponding skill needs as well as the required proficiency level.
d) Respond to emerging training needs and occupational profiles by designing transnational vocational training content and related qualifications for upskilling the LTC workforce.
e) Ensure that more LTC workers are trained in person-centred care and digital skills.
f) Expand uptake and initiate certification of curricula at the national and European levels.
g) Ensure that skills in LTC remain high on the political agenda at both European and national levels in the years to come.
h) Enlarge the Partnership for Skills in LTC to encompass the broader sector and a variety of stakeholders.

Digital Education Transfer:
Objective:
- Transfer vocational education to the digital space, ensuring availability during situations that prevent full-time education.
- Develop tools and methods to help teachers manage challenges in digital education.
- Provide education through an easily accessible virtual application.
Aims:
- Improve digital education at secondary vocational schools with a focus on practical technical education.
- Develop a methodology to train teachers for effective digital education during school closures.
- Create a user-friendly methodology for delivering quality digital education while maintaining inclusivity.
Target Groups:
- Teachers of technical vocational schools.
- IOC of technical vocational schools needing to adapt to virtual teaching methods.
Expected Results
- 1. THREE DIGITAL COURSES IN THE FIELD OF TECHNICAL VOCATIONAL TRAINING The relevance of the course content will be recognized by the corresponding industry partners and the finalized courses will be provided free of charge to industry partners.

- 2. METHODOLOGY AND PROCEDURES FOR TEACHING THROUGH DIGITAL INSTRUMENTS AND VIRTUAL PLATFORMS (O4)
Development of a document that will provide teachers and teachers with methods for successful mastering of digital teaching on the example of IO 1-3.
- 3. MODULAR DIGITAL SKILLS TRAINING MATERIAL FOR TEACHERS (O5)
Training material to obtain, resp. expanding skills and competences for digital education.
- 4. GUIDE TO THE USE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES FOR TEACHERS IN VOCATIONAL SCHOOLS (O6)
A handbook that provides teachers with the most important information and context needed for digital learning that a teacher should master for successful teaching through digital technologies.
- 5. PILOT TRAINING
12 experienced teachers will be trained in digital skills. Subsequently, another 12 will be trained in the Pilot Training in each of the partner countries.
- 6. PILOT TESTING
Developed Intellectual Outputs O1-O6 will be tested in practice in schools and educational institutions and will be optimized as needed.
- 7. DISSEMINATION
The results and outputs of the project will be disseminated in accordance
