On April 17th, 2023, the EVBB actively participated in the Validation Workshop titled “Validation Workshop of the study ‘Supporting learning mobility: progress, obstacles, and way forward’,” which was expertly coordinated by PPMI. The venue for this significant event was the Conference Centre Albert Borschette in Brussels. During the workshop, the study’s findings, including the obstacles to learners’ mobilities across Europe and valuable recommendations to incentivize mobilities, were presented and extensively discussed. The European Commission warmly welcomed the workshop activities in the morning, acknowledging the importance of the study’s outcomes.
The study holds great significance as it aims to provide concrete value and support for the upcoming Council Recommendation on learning mobility, updating the 2011 Recommendation that has played a crucial role in increasing interest and attractiveness of mobilities, including in the field of Vocational Education and Training (VET). In the finalization workshop, the EVBB actively engaged in discussions, sharing the experiences and ambitions of its members concerning VET mobilities, solidifying its commitment to fostering cooperation and excellence in the domain of VET.
