We invite expressions of interest to undertake project actions as part of the “MYSEA – Mediterranean Youth, NEETs, and Women Advancing Skills, Employment, and Awareness in the Blue and Green Economy” project, within the framework of the ENI CBCMED program. Those interested can find information and express their interest HERE or by contacting the Eurotraining Educational Organization
MYSEA addresses high youth unemployment, particularly among NEETs and women, in the Euro-Mediterranean region by focusing on emerging needs in the agri-food and waste management sectors. The project provides targeted training, coaching, and mentorship, enhancing employment opportunities through collaboration between Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions and enterprises. With a budget of €3.6 million, including a €3.3 million EU contribution, MYSEA aims to increase employability by developing sector-specific training and aligning educational curricula with industry needs. It promotes cross-border cooperation and development, enhancing TVET institutions’ capacity to implement national employment schemes. Beneficiaries include young people, NEETs, women, business and non-governmental actors, and TVET institutions in the agri-food and waste management sectors. Expected outcomes include 15 training packages, 1000 certificates of traineeship and on-the-job training, 100 mobile-friendly microlearning modules, 15 associations for sustainable innovation, 15 creative workshops, 450 potential employment contracts, and training for TVET and economic sector staff. MYSEA also aims to formulate work policies and skills development agendas, involving local, regional, and national authorities to promote inclusive job-youth growth policies and strengthen capacities through training programs.
