Civil Society Days 2021 – WS3 on ‘The role of Education and culture in the sustainable recovery for Europe’

More than 100 participants discussed “The role of education and culture in the sustainable recovery for Europe”.

On March 2nd 2021, together with Lifelong Learning Platform & Culture Action Europe, the EVBB hosted a workshop on education and culture in the framework of the Civil Society Days 2021 with more than 100 participants.

The Workshop, moderated by Theodor Grassos, hosted Dr. Eli Eisenberg from Samuel Neaman Institute as a Keynote Speaker.

Together with Shanti George and Gabriele Rosana we had three highly interesting discussions in the breakout sessions of the workshop, talking about intergenerational learning, holistic education and the necessity of a new Cultural Deal for Europe coming up with different recommendations on how education and culture can tackle challenges and help supporting a sustainable recovery for Europe in these difficult times.

Finally, Tatjana Babrauskienė and Janusz Pietkiewicz, EESC members and Paul Coughlan, representing FEANI gave their inputs on the different recommendations that were evaluated in the breakout sessions.
