About Women Awareness Up

The Association has been founded in February 2024, its main oblectives there are the following:

• To prevent and combat at all levels and in all forms gender-based violence against women and girls of all ages, including domestic violence, in line with the Istanbul Convention, international law and Curopce policies;
• Preventing and combating all forms of violence against children, young people and other at-risk groups, such as LGBTQI persons and persons with disabilities;
• Support and promote a culture of gender equality and minority rights, including LGBTQI persons and persons with disabilities;
• Supporting and protecting all direct and indirect victims of physical and psychological violence.

• To develop non-formal education methodologies, models and techniques, including through the arts and theatre, for the removal of violence and gender inequality;
• To develop, including through the arts, a new concept and models of urban space use aimed at raising community awareness for the removal of all forms of gender-based violence.
