About Vinnytsia Institute of Trade and Economics of State University of Trade and Economics (VITE SUTE)

VITE SUTE has extensive experience of catering for educational and professional needs of future specialists for more than 55 years. It is the only educational institution in Vinnytsia region that has Quality Management System Certificate in higher education ISO 9001. The number of students of the Institute is about 4000. VITE students qualify in Public Administration, Social Security, Journalism, Economics, Management, Tourism, Law, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Law, Information Systems and Technologies, Philology and Psychology. VITE SUTE also offers formal education and non-formal education for school students and adults. It provides courses and training for public authority employees, managers of enterprises and individuals in financial literacy, social and sustainable entrepreneurship, audit and accounting, business administration, communicative management, creative management. VITE SUTE offers a diverse range of elective courses focused on transversal skills, equipping young people with the entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability needed to navigate the ever-evolving labor market throughout their careers, in particular “Recruitment, training and staff development”, “Innovative entrepreneurship and start-up project management”, “Transformational leadership”, “Creative management solutions”, “Economics of innovation”, “Cross-cultural management”, etc. The teaching staff (around 150 permanent employees), more than 80% of whom have Ph. D.s and are doctors of sciences, preserves the unique scientific potential and long traditions and has provided students with a high-quality education for decades. Also, the teachers of the Institute are certified in PBL, GBL, and Inclusive Education and have considerable experience in conducting training, coaching sessions, masterminds, and mentoring programs.

The Institute successfully implements international educational projects to expand the economic and social opportunities of forcibly displaced people, older people, and people with special needs.

Achievements

VITE SUTE has extensive experience in fostering sustainable development, career readiness, leadership, and entrepreneurship among students and young professionals in the Vinnytsia region.

Resource Centre for Sustainable Development of VITE SUTE encourages talented students to engage in decision-making within local communities, advocates for the implementation of international programs supporting sustainable economic development and facilitates collaboration between students, local enterprises, and policymakers to address regional socio-economic challenges.

The Career Development Centre at VITE SUTE assists students and graduates in securing employment in line with their career aspirations; organizes monthly career-building training sessions in partnership with various departments by engaging lyceum and gymnasium students through Memorandums of Cooperation to support early career guidance and vocational training; strengthens the link between education and labor market needs by providing targeted career counseling and job-matching services.

The Business School at VITE SUTE supports the development of a new generation of Ukrainian leaders by offering professional training; provides guidance from industry experts to students from secondary schools, colleges, and technical institutions; enhances entrepreneurial and leadership skills among students to prepare them for the modern labor market, organizes workshops and mentoring programs to foster innovation, business acumen, and economic sustainability.

The Center for Monitoring the Quality of the Educational Process and Innovative Development was established with the aim of ensuring continuous monitoring and evaluation of the quality of education at VITE SUTE. The specific objectives of the Centre are to enhance the effectiveness of vocational education and training (VET) programs by aligning them with modern labor market demands; to conduct research and analysis on educational trends, pedagogical innovations, and competency-based learning; to facilitating collaboration between educators, students, and industry representatives to improve training outcomes; to support the integration of digital technologies and sustainability principles into the educational system.
