About University of Applied Management Studies

The University of Applied Management Studies (HdWM) is a private university founded in 2011 with a strong focus on social responsibility, sustanability, relations with industry and internationalisation.
The university develops bachelors and masters degrees programs in German and English in connection to business administration, management, social work and IT in cooperation with the industry. The university was founded by several entrepreneurs therefore entreprenurship knowledge and content preveails in all the courses offered at the university.

The university has approximately 450 students and 45 staff members comprising academics and administrators. In the last twelve years students from 55 nationalities have been taking part in the courses. The university is supported by over 70 regional and international companies in terms of finance, research topics and internship opportunities. The private university belongs to a great extent to the national Internationaler Bund (IB) . This educational institution has over 14000 employees and offers an extensive variety of VET programs.
The university is accredited by the German Education and Science Ministry and all the programs are additionally FIBBA accredited.
