About State educational institution ” Berdychiv Higher Vocational School”

Since 1954, our institution has been engaged in the training of qualified workers for agriculture. Our students receive theoretical knowledge and practical training for future work in the profession they have acquired. The state educational institution “Berdychiv Higher Vocational School” is an agricultural education institution that provides training for the following professions:  tractor-machinist of agricultural production; driver of motor vehicles; agricultural machines and equipment fitter (2nd grade); farmer. The institution also trains qualified workers in the field of catering:  cook (4th grade); waiter/waitress (4th grade); baker (3rd grade); confectioner (3rd grade);  candy maker. Most students enter our institution at the age of 15. Their training lasts 3-3.5 years. Some students enter the institution at the age of 18-23. Their training lasts 1 or 1.5 years. In addition, the unemployed population has the opportunity to acquire professions or undergo retraining at our institution. All students study for free (at the expense of the state order). Our institution cooperates with local farms and agricultural enterprises, as we focus on the requirements of employers and the modern labor market. The high level of training of our graduates is evidenced by the presence of winners of professional contests (the AllUkrainian contest of professional skills on the profession “Tractor-machinist of agricultural production” among students of vocational institutions; the All-Ukrainian contest of professional skills on the profession ” Agricultural machines and equipment fitter ” among students of professional institutions). Our teachers and trainers of industrial training undergo constant professional retraining and exchange experience with teachers of educational institutions of the highest level of accreditation. The institution involves professional experts in the field of agriculture to check the acquired professional competences and takes into account their recommendations for the further education of students.
