About SerGED Academy

SERGED Academy provides social services by activating trainers with different levels of competence, youth and adult learners, social workers, youth policy makers, experts and volunteers in the realization of civic activities that provide benefits for the European and local communities. It was established as a learning organization that brings together for greater inclusion in life.

  • Special attention is paid to hard-to-reach groups to promote equal education and workforce opportunities for all;
  • Balanced integration of different ethnic groups is supported through transnational projects and activities that take into account the multilingual character;
  • Promotes intercultural dialogue, information exchange and European awareness through the active participation of young people;
  • Adopt a community-centered approach through the development of initiatives to support personal, social and cultural development, strengthening youth and youth structures, civic education, promoting youth participation, intercultural learning and non-formal education methodologies;
  • promotes the recognition of non-formal education and learning by society and the state;
  • supports the development of young people through sport;
  • Supports young people to learn about different cultures through international mobility;
  • Creates opportunities for young people to learn innovative learning methods and use them in their career development;
  • Promotes lifelong learning as a means of adapting to continuous changes and promoting personal and professional growth;
  • Include young people in international education, science, sports and cultural exchange programs;
  • Promotes intercultural dialogue through different initiatives and Programs (Erasmus +, Europe for citizens, Creative Europe, etc);
  • Supports initiatives that develop opportunities for mutual understanding, intercultural learning solidarity, community participation and volunteering;
  • Implements projects supported by international partnerships and networks to develop skills that directly concern citizens and address their needs for the labor market;

SERGED works in the organization of education and training programs that aim to improve, develop and expand knowledge, skills and competences.

Achievements

SerGED Academy carries out project-based learning activities in cooperation with education providers at national and European level.

  • It organizes teacher, staff and student mobility activities at European level in the field of Vocational Education.
  • It organizes internship programs of university students, coordinates between students and businesses and monitors the program.
  • It carries out inclusion activities to support the social participation of disadvantaged youth in society.
  • It carries out its activities on the way to become a teacher academy at the European level in teacher education and carries out professional development course programs.
    It carries out activities to raise European awareness among young people through sports and culture.
  • It carries out projects to develop teaching curricula and tools in cooperation with schools and institutions on climate change education.
  • Our project activities carried out by SerGEdStep by Step Erasmus+KA204: Artistic activities were carried out to ensure social inclusion of disadvantaged and marginalized individuals in the field of adult education.
  • Solutions’ Heritage Erasmus+ KA227 Project: Within the scope of our heritage of solutions project, learning modules are designed to strengthen communication between the elderly and young people aged 55 and over, and role_play games are designed that will enable the elderly to inspire young people with their experiences. In this project, innovative solutions are proposed for the inclusion needs of elderly individuals who feel lonely.
  • ECHAMP Erasmus + Sport SSCP project: With our sports project, we support the social participation of young people with disabilities through sports.
  • Sport4rall Erasmus + Sport Non Profit sport Events Project: With our sport project, 15 sport clubs from 11 European countries participated in sporting events held in Lisbon, Portugal.
    By encouraging the physical activity of young and adult individuals in different sports branches, it was ensured that they contributed to the protection of their health.
  • CC4CA Erasmus + KA201 Project: Within the scope of this project, a climate change curriculum was prepared in primary schools at the European level. By linking the prepared curriculum with the lessons and subjects taught in primary schools, the educational tools and methods needed by children and teachers were developed.
  • TUTOR Erasmus + Teacher Academies Project: In order to provide disadvantaged individuals in the society with the opportunity to use their education rights at the High School level, a distance learning teacher education program will be developed that will enable the development of the skills of Teachers on Inclusive Education at the European level. Within the scope of this project, it is aimed to maximize the skills of teachers who will support disabled and disadvantaged individuals in exercising their right to education.VET Mobility for Teachers and Students in Tourism and Hospitality Sector
