Foundation Act Against Exclusion (FACE) Tunisia was established in 2014 to address and combat all forms of exclusion, marginalization, and discrimination. The organization focuses on improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable populations in Tunisia, with a mission to reduce inequalities, enhance gender equality, and promote social inclusion. FACE Tunisia’s values are collective action, proximity, innovation, social utility, tangible social impact, volunteering, humanism, and partnership. FACE Tunisia collaborates with a broad network of public and private partners committed to social inclusion and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The strategic vision of FACE Tunisia is anchored on three main axes: 1. Promotion of CSR Culture: Integrating CSR practices within local and multinational companies in Tunisia, involving them in various projects to foster a socially responsible business environment. 2. Empowerment of Vulnerable Populations: Providing economic and financial empowerment through multi-thematic support projects tailored for different vulnerable groups. 3. Gender Equality and Opportunities: Ensuring that gender and opportunity-based approaches are central to all projects, aiming to create equal opportunities for all. Priority Fields and Projects : FACE Tunisia prioritizes various sectors, including improving working conditions for women, providing information to rural women, enhancing the role of women in rural development, fostering social innovation in companies, youth employment, improving youth and women’s employability, socio-economic reintegration of vulnerable populations, preventing violent extremism, socio-economic empowerment of disadvantaged women, health, and education. Since its inception, FACE Tunisia has implemented over 14 projects across various governorates in Tunisia, such as Tunis, Ariana, Manouba, Ben Arous, Bizerte, Béja, Sfax, Sidi Bouzid, Nabeul, and Sousse.
FACE Tunisia has extensive experience working with youth and women from diverse backgrounds and vulnerable situations. The organization excels in mobilizing these groups, fostering trust, and promoting collaboration with various stakeholders. Key projects demonstrate their ability to engage young people and women in meaningful ways, leading to significant social impacts: • EBNI Project: Successfully reintegrated young ex-prisoners by fostering collaboration between private companies, state organizations, and local associations. • CLOCH-ART Project: Mobilized young drug users to become peer educators and community leaders. • SOLVE Project: Engaged local facilitators and a significant proportion of youth to address violent extremism through community dialogues and capacity building.
