Education Agency for Development and Innovation – IDEA not-for-profit Sp. z o.o. is young organisation based in rural area aiming at providing non formal education and free training opportunities for all residents from our local areas. IDEA’s general purpose is to ensure high-level support for career seekers as well as for those who are thinking about starting up or expanding their business. IDEA tries to open their minds on various training courses and entrepreneurial support through non-formal experience by upskilling them in digital technologies, social media and many more. We encourage our clients to follow their passion and hobby, but at the same time we try to provide to each individual expertise and tailored training to support them even further in their career opportunities. The target group of our activities are all people from our local community and also these belonging to the disadvantaged groups. Many of them come from rural and remote areas with difficult access to education and employment. They suffer from geographical obstacles but also some time they are in difficult financial condition and at risk of social exclusion. This brings us to another very important goal of our organisation: social inclusion and outreaching to the inhabitants of rural areas and especially youth and seniors who may often feel excluded as they don’t have many opportunities to engage in the society, which could be as a result of poorly developed soft skills or these days digital competences. To this end, IDEA aims to fight the unemployment and to promote the improvement of soft skills to meet the growing demand for transversal skills such as critical and innovative thinking, entrepreneurial mind-set and creativity by current employers. Consequently, except from the main mission of the organisation which is career consultancy, the main statutory objective of the organization is to enable personal and professional development by enhancing non-formal education opportunities, in particular through: a. promoting innovative educational practices, b. spreading the idea of lifelong learning and promoting non-formal and informal education, c. fulfilling tasks in the field of continuous education of adults and youth in various subjects and in many forms, d. encouraging personal, professional and social development aimed at equalizing social and educational opportunities, e. creating conditions for learning through experience, including the creation of apprenticeship places both in the office and in the field, which could help in developing personal skills and the acquisition of new competences.
The Nurture Her project focuses on addressing gender inequality by providing female-specific entrepreneurial training for food entrepreneurs. It supports women in overcoming challenges through digital tools, courses, and financing options in partner countries. The project also shares success stories to inspire others. AWARE (Advancing Women in Agri-Food Rural Environments) is a follow-up project with similar goals. It aims to close the gender gap in the agri-food sector by offering tailored entrepreneurial training and mentorship to women. This support helps them develop practical skills, build networks, and overcome isolation. The project promotes innovative pedagogies and resources for women looking to start their own food businesses. Agro4SDGs targets women in the agricultural sector, supporting both current and aspiring entrepreneurs. This project strengthens women’s skills in agroecology and contributes to gender equality across the agroecological value chain. Key outcomes include an awareness campaign, an infographic booklet, videos showcasing sustainability approaches, and two digital flipbooks for trainers and rural female entrepreneurs. Additionally, the project will produce guides for public administrations on supporting local businesses and organizing successful events.
