The Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de Tunis (CCITunis) is the oldest consular institution in Tunisia, established on 23 June 1885. It was originally created to represent commercial, agricultural, and industrial interests across the territory. Today, CCITunis serves as a public support and assistance organisation dedicated to companies located in the Greater Tunis region, including Tunis, Ariana, Ben Arous, and Manouba.
Operating under a quality management system (ISO 9001), the chamber focuses on improving internal processes while strengthening its national and international influence. Its activities are structured around four core pillars: assistance, promotion, information, and training. CCITunis helps businesses with international trade operations by issuing certificates of origin, organising seminars and business missions, delivering trade documentation, and facilitating cooperation with chambers worldwide. It also holds the exclusive right to issue ATA and TIR carnets in Tunisia.
In addition to assisting companies directly, the CCITunis promotes economic activity through participation in national and international fairs, provides economic information via its communications channels, and offers vocational training through its Ecole Pratique de Commerce (Practical Business School), preparing graduates for the job market
