We are excited to announce the 2nd Annual Fair on Innovative VET Practices, taking place on September 17, 2024, from 09:30 to 17:00 CET. Hosted at the EVBB VET House in Brussels and online, this full-day hybrid event will showcase forward-thinking initiatives in the field of vocational education and training (VET) from across Europe.
Organised by EVBB, the event brings together educators, project partners, policymakers, and VET professionals to highlight impactful practices and foster cross-sector collaboration.
What to Expect
Participants will have the opportunity to explore a selection of key EVBB-coordinated projects driving innovation and excellence in VET:
TesTED – This event will serve as the final conference of TesTED, a project focused on reducing early school leaving through data-based student screening and targeted support strategies. Learn about the tools, outcomes, and policy recommendations emerging from this impactful initiative.
Safe Spaces – Discover how VET can serve as a critical tool for the integration of unaccompanied refugee youth. Safe Spaces promotes vocational training as a pathway to inclusion, community belonging, and future opportunity.
DigiGreeN – Explore the ongoing upskilling of postal service workers with a focus on green and digital competencies. This project addresses the need for sustainable development and innovation in a rapidly evolving sector.
Alliance – Learn how the Alliance project is strengthening the internationalisation capacity of VET providers in the Balkans, creating meaningful connections and developing strategies for cross-border cooperation.
Stay for the EVBBQ Networking Social
To close the day, all attendees are invited to join the EVBBQ Networking Social – an informal gathering designed to encourage dialogue, exchange ideas, and connect with fellow professionals in the VET community. It’s a great way to reconnect after the summer and launch into the new season with renewed inspiration.
