Exciting news from Brussels! On the 21st of June, the VET4EU2 meeting took place at our premises, bringing together key players from European-wide Umbrella Organisations and Associations in the Vocational Education & Training (VET) ecosystem. This platform serves as a hub for collaboration and advancement in VET across Europe. Ahead of the meeting, participants had the opportunity to align their efforts just in time for today’s important meeting with the European Commission, organized by DG Employ. The gathering provided a comprehensive overview of the latest activities in the VET world, covering topics such as new Erasmus+ calls, the Green Transition, and the #europeanyearofskills 2023.
Moreover, the discussion focused on VET advancement and cooperation, with particular attention drawn to the recently signed MoU between three major VET Associations in Europe: European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB), European Vocational Training Association – EVTA, and EfVET. Together, these strategic partners aim to deliver better, more inclusive Vocational Education across Europe and beyond, driving towards the common goal of Vocational Excellence.
