The 50th eucen Conference: Times of transition – the role of university lifelong learning, taking place in the University of Bergen (NO) between Wednesday 6 and Friday 8 June 201, celebrates the growth and evolvement of university lifelong learning through the past decades, and looks info future opportunities in times of transition. Increasing internationalization, cultural diversity, mobility and digitalization are global trends with huge impact on individuals, work life and educational institutions.
Flexible learning, adult career guidance, validation of prior learning, adult education pedagogies, continuous profesional learning, community/university initiatives… are some of the topics used to explore future opportunities of univeristy lifelong learning through professional, personal and digital transitions.
The team of EUCEN, the ‘european university continuing education network’, is honored to count with the presence of Natália Alves (PT), Frédéric Nils (BE), Jan Svärdhagen (SE), Kinga Szuly (EESC) and Josephine Finn (IE) that will enhance the content and discussion during the Conference. Moreover, 18 cases will be presented in the parallel sessions where you will have the chance to discuss and share your views.
